follow the wire from the positive side of the battery it will lead you to it
it is a fuse that protects the ignition relay from too much current. a bad fuse would cause a no start, and if you pull the fuse, its center core will be burnt out if it is bad.
A signal from the ignition switch closes the contacts in the relay to allow current to flow to the starter.
If it is a automatic transmission there is no starter relay but, an ignition relay instead. If it is manual the starter relay is located under the hood at the fuse box on the left (drivers) side.
