a sauna is a little room filled with hot vapour. People usually also put smells in it , like plants and stuff. People do saunas because it usually makes you feel relax and maybe wasting energy ( for the sweat) , but htat's not all of the reasons. After saunas people normally like having a quick cold shower to cool off.

Does the temperature inside a sauna have any effect on the ceramic tile on the floor of the sauna?

It does, but it is very minimal because kiuas is usually insulated from the floor so that it doesn't touch the floor. The temperature from kiuas in sauna rises up and the floor can sometimes totally cold in the winter even if it is near 100 degrees Celsius on the top shelf

What light fixtures can I use in a sauna?

There are a wide variety of lighting fixtures that can be used in saunas. Sauna lights are specially certified for sauna use in high-heat, high-moisture environments. Do not use any conventional fixtures in your saunas. These fixtures can be low or line voltage. The main concern is moisture getting into the fixture. It has to be of a vapour proof variety and the feeder to the fixture must be 90 degrees C cable.A dimmer on the outside of the sauna should be used to control the fixture. This allows for "mood" lighting instead of looking at a glaring light in such a small enclosure.
