Compositing is layering two separate still/motion images together for animation. Imagine an object like a ball that you want to show moving in a zero gravity environment. You can shoot this ball on a timeline with a pure green background. You can shoot an space ship like environment separately. You can then take the two footage and work in softwares like Combustion. You can select and delete all the green from the Ball footage and just composite it on top of the space ship footage. This is process is called compositing.
it doesn't matter if you cant draw or if you think you cant draw. but you can be an animator if you want o. Just follow your dreams. Hope this helped Bye!!=) Most animation schools or animation modules in graphic design/digital animation courses would require enrolled students to do a fundamental course on drawing/fine art. If you are interested in going into 2D animation (drawing cell by cell), good drawing skills are essential. However, if you are more interested in 3D animation, which is the direction the animation and movie industry are moving towards, your 3D modeling skills or in the case of video gaming courses, your programming skills are more critical (including being strong in physics, mathematics, analytical thinking typically associated with computer science and engineering). 3D modelling does not just involve creating a 3D volumetric static mass. It involves rigging for movements, texture & mapping, lighting/compositing, special effects etc. However, to do a realistic 3D object, good observation skills or imagination are essential, which are the basis of good drawing skills anyway.

Animation refers to the motion in an object. Animation can be of two types that is 2D and 3D .There are three basic steps that are need to be followed for animation that are modeling , designing and rendering.
Animation means movement. To say that a person "looks rather animated today," means that they seem to spring around, bouyant in their movement. Animated film is any film that takes still things like drawings or clay figures and gives them the appearance of movement by adjusting them just a tiny bit with each frame (a still photo) shot. When the sequence is played at 24 frames per second or greater, the eye percieves this as fluid motion. Flash is a powerful vector-based application for creating animation for the web as well as stand-alone film-type projects. "Flash animation" is merely any animation created in Flash.

The chief tools used were customized animation and compositing software, particularly Imageworks' customized version of Maya 2009, which includes a custom stereo viewer; Imageworks' proprietary compositing software, Katana3-D; Nuke compositing software (v. 5.1); and Imageworks' in-house 3-D viewing tool, Itview.
To create kinetic type animations in After Effects, you can start by typing out your text, then use the keyframe animation tool to animate the movement of the text. You can also add effects like scaling, rotation, and opacity changes to make the animation more dynamic. Experiment with different timing and easing options to create a smooth and engaging kinetic type animation.
Animation effects are the effects that en have the uisual appeal of presentation and help to grab the attention of the audience
Multipass compositing is a technique used in computer graphics to combine multiple layers or render passes into a final image. Each pass contains specific information such as color, lighting, shadows, reflections, or transparency, and by combining them together, a complex and visually appealing image can be created with more control over the final look. This technique is commonly used in visual effects and animation production to achieve more realistic and detailed results.
To create a professional animation using Adobe After Effects, start by planning your animation storyboard and gathering all necessary assets. Then, import your assets into After Effects, organize them in layers, and use keyframes to animate movement and effects. Utilize tools like masks, effects, and plugins to enhance your animation. Finally, preview and fine-tune your animation before exporting it in the desired format.

To add a keyframe in After Effects for animation effects, you can select the property you want to animate, then click the stopwatch icon next to it. This will create a keyframe at the current time. You can then adjust the property at different times and add more keyframes to create animation effects.
To loop an animation in After Effects, you can use the "Loop" expression. Simply right-click on the keyframes of your animation, select "Keyframe Assistant," and then choose "Convert Expression to Keyframes." This will create a looped animation that repeats seamlessly.
The keyframe hotkey in After Effects for creating animation sequences is the "Ctrl Shift D" combination.
There are large number of effects in power point. These effects provide the animation to the slide.
To create a dynamic and engaging line animation in After Effects, you can start by using the pen tool to draw the path of the line. Then, apply effects like trim paths and stroke to animate the line. You can also add motion blur, color effects, and adjust the timing to make the animation more dynamic. Experiment with different techniques and effects to create a visually appealing and engaging line animation.
