Sounds like it may be misfiring
Any service engine light on?
May be a bad ignition coil - if I am not mistaken each cylinder has its own coil mounted at the top of the spark plugs. It is not uncommon for one to go bad.
By replacing the chain and tensioners.
Lucas (oil additive) it and pray..if its a rod just drive it easy..if it is spark knock use better gas. answer the door sorry bout that, but if engine is knocking is it at idle, under load, etc knocking can be caused by piston slap,(worn out rings),bad bearings,or simply have engine tuned, all depends where knock is coming from
Dragon style kung fu is a more grappling focused system it has several chokes for knocking out appoents
'Knocking' is a technical term for fuel igniting too early in the combustion chamber. It can be resolved by adding anti knock additives to the fuel or by retarding the timing at the relevant revs. Most modern engines have built in knock sensors that do this automatically.
Some causes will:A leaky lifter will pressure up and quit, and can sound like a rod knock when the clearance is bad enoughA collapsed piston skirt will quiet down when the engine warms upA rod can knock under load or start up and quite down when oil pressure is applied. Its only going to get worse though.
wierd
i have also a knocking noise on my Fiesta st 2008 and have discovered that it is the handbrake cable underneath the car between the heat shield and body of under center of where your handbrake is.The heat shield will have to be removed as what happens normally the hand brake cable comes loose and rattles against the heat shield when accelerating & deceleration... really annoying!
The knocking noise is commonly called spark knock. The knock can be called by the engine timing not being set correctly, or using gas that has too low of an octane for the engine.
Might be a cracked vacumn hose, there are plenty, and the age is about right for this to happen.
knock sensor is going bad or is bad
A knocking noise can occur from worn engine mounts. When the rubber insert on the engine mounts are old and brittle the chassis is not protected from the weight of the engine. Creating loud vibrations that get louder as the vehicle goes faster.
a "knocking" noise could be your lifters. and the ticking when accelerating and letting out of the gas is the same thing. check your oil and if it's full then you may need to think about either having them adjusted, or getting new ones. depending on what you have depends on whether or not you wanna sell it
By replacing the chain and tensioners.
It is your blend door actuator. Good luck! It is a cheap part but an expensive time consuming fix.
Usually, most knocking is from the muffler or exhaust pipe vibrating or bumping on the frame or something. Look for a damaged or broken strap.
Most likely needs a tuneup done. Check the timing and change the normal tuneup part.
Possible loose exhaust pipe, check hanger clamps.
