Hi, The price of Lotton Glass depends on many variables. Which Lotton made it? There are 7 Lottons. Charles, the Father, who has been blowing glass since the early 1970's. John, Daniel and David the sons of Charles. Jeremiah, Joshua and Timothy Lotton, the grandsons of Charles. Plus there is Jerry Herr, Charles's nephew and Scott Bayless who work at Charles's studio. John no longer blows glass but does real estate development. The age, shape, complexity, weight, design and appeal of the piece also determine value. The more complex the piece, the more expensive. To get an idea of value I would suggest going to www.ebay.com and running a search for Lotton to get a feel of the pieces that are available and the prices they realize. You can also go to www.lottonglass.com and www.lottongallery.com to see pieces that are available from Lotton Studios. There is also a web site for the Lotton Glass Collector's Club which is www.lottonglassclub.com. Here will be additional information regarding Lotton Glass! Hope This Helps! To paint glass lamps that have already been painted, you should first cover the light bulb socket and cord of the lamp with painters tape. You can then paint the glass lamp with Krylon Fusion paint. It is designed to adhere to glass and other slick hard to paint surfaces.
that is the model number and can be quite helpful in finding out the value of the vase.
Ok...I waited a good while for the reply to this, but to no avail. I was desparate to free the glass from the jug, so I had to take desparate measures.... I took a rubber hammer, and hit the side (not the rim) of the glass vase. I hit it gently but firmly, and made the hits rhythmic, not one great wallop after another. Suddenly the glass vase moved. I had to tap the glass a few more times, until it sat upright and straight in the jug. I twisted it one way, then the other, and it suddenly came free. Voila! one free glass from a ceramic jug, with just a couple of grazes to show for it.
