I got my son a Nikon P60 for Xmas and overall it takes great photos and fairly decent video as long as the recorded source is not excessively loud ( Concert). The best news though is the point and shoot ability to take low light shots. VR or vibration reduction truly helps. We just shot the Creed / Staind concert night before last and as long as you stay out of the digital zoom the shots were great. I would e-mail you or post some examples on this forum but I don't know how. This is my first forum entry. OfficeMax from time to time has this gem of a camera on sale for $99.00. It is 8.1MP and has an electronic viewfinder that allows you to look through the lens rather than just rely on the LCD. Great especially in bright light when LCDs are useless. Have fun!
