It has some of the best voted places to live in, in the US (more than Colorado). It has the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It also has a low rate of obesity, and it is the most powerful state in the US. It has a high median income, well over the US median income, and it also has a higher minimum wage than the national set standard.
I suspect that your teacher wants YOU to tell the history of your own state, not the state where some anonymous person on the internet may live. Some of us don't even live in the United States at all.
