The difference is the way the way the needle groupings are put together. The stacked are overlapping layers generally put together tighter than weaved mags and the curved are put together with the outer needles slightly inset to provide the same amount of depth the needles go into the skin as you apply pressure thus causing less trauma to the skin! Hope this helps!

What are the magnum needles specially m1 m2 stack and curved?

m1 Needles are more for shading each needle has about a needles width gap between them. So a 5m1 will have 3 needles on top and two on bottom, but there is a needles gap between them, SO you need a 5F tip for 5m1 needles. However a 5m2 needle is not spaced they are more for dark filling in. The needles are not gapped they are tight. So a5m2 needle also has 3 needles on top and 2 on bottom but you need a 3F tip. What are the best techniques for using curved needles when sewing leather?

When sewing leather with curved needles, it is best to use a thimble to push the needle through the tough material. Additionally, pre-punching the holes in the leather can make it easier to sew with curved needles. Lastly, using a strong thread and making small, even stitches will help ensure a secure and neat seam.

Is a round magnum tattoo needle the same as curved magnum tattoo needle?

This is talking about the tip of the needle. Standard is round, i don't know about curved, that's kind of scary, at least I have never heard of them, however there are tapered tips as well, which is probably what your talking about. Mag needles are stacked, if there is no stack they are also called flats. For the artist, tattooing is all about technique, and depending on your technique, you may choose to use a tapered needle, or a standard round.
