The engine casing allows you to easily fit in a new motor for each flight. If you didn't have this the used motor would have to be cut out before you could fit a new one.
A FSI or Fuel Stratified Injection engine functions by having the gasoline injected directly into the combustion chamber of each cylinder in the engine.
Casement windows slide vertically in their 'casing', hence the term.
Jiggle valve is a small aperture valve in outer casing of engine (IC engines) thermostat which vents the air trapped inside the cooling system when filling or topping up the system with coolant and hence ensures the 'full coolant no air trap' condition in radiator and water jackets.
If the transmission has electronic controls, then a module could be bad. If not, then the transmission could need a rebuild. If it is a front wheel drive, check the cv joints for damage.
an architrave is someone who fixes plane engines Architrave, or casing, is the trim around a door or window frame.

Bike on center stand, and oil catch pan under the engine, while the engine is warn, the pan bolt is at the back of the engine, brake pedal side, drain and put the nut back in. Make sure the gasket is good. The oil filter is in the casing at the front of the engine just below the rad. Un bolt the casing, be careful, there is a washer and a spring in there. Watch the way things come out and replace the same way. With the filter you get 2 rubber o-rings. They go on the long bolt in the center of the filter casing. When you re-install, there is a boss on the block casing that fits to the oil casing where there are 2 ridges. As you start to screw in the casing with the new filter, the boss ( bump ) has to be lined up to the engine block, therefor you will not be able to turn the casing, this is a good sign. Re-fill with 3.2 liters 10w40, run up engine and check the level and check for leaks. ( spring goes in first, then washer, then the filter.

On engine casing, passenger's side, on flange that bolts to transmission. Probably covered with engine gunk.
An outboard engine is an engine attached to the outside of a boat. An outboard engine is usually contained within its own casing. By contrast, an inboard engine is enclosed within the hull of the boat itself.
This depends on year and engine Basically follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine and the thermostat is inside that casing.
