Much like your heart pumps blood throughout your body the oil pump in a car engine pumps oil throughout the engine to lubricate moving and rotating parts.
The heart can be compared to a pump, as it circulates blood throughout the body. It can also be likened to a symbol of love and emotions in a metaphorical sense. Additionally, the heart can be compared to an engine that keeps the body running efficiently.

1. You cannot live without a heart just like a car is useless without an engine. 2. The heart moves because of electrical impulses, much like an electric motor moving because of electricity.

The human heart beats to generate blood throughout the entire body...basically its like a piston in an engine it pumps to keep circulating blood so that your body stays alive.
Your body is by nature lazy, and will adapt the size of it's "engine" (muscles, heart & lungs) to what it thinks you need. If all you do is loaf around in front of the tv, then pretty soon that will be all that you're able to do, and the heart will have to work flat out to sustain that. By being active you can tell your body that you need a "bigger engine", and then when you do relax the bigger engine won't have to work as hard on sustaining you.
if you are asking that kind of question then maybe your not the person for the job. May sound harsh but it will save a lot of heart ache
