If you don't have spark at the plugs, or at the distributor cap, the problem is probably a faulty ignition module. This is located under the distributor cap and ignition rotor. You need test equipment to check the coils, modules and pole pieces.
If you mean the starter will not turn over the engine, check the battery. vbd
Double check the ground, and make sure the cap on the Optispark unit isn't what's arcing instead.

You can probably only get to 2 or 3 plugs from the top, but the rest you have to get from underneath the vehicle.
1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 1,3,5,7 are on the left bank and 2,4,6,8 are the right bank.
