What is the standard height of an exterior door?

usually either 30" or 32" wide and the heights are usually 80". In the UK you tend to find that they are 27" (686mm) or 30" (762mm) wide. I note that new regs indicate you should fit 30 minute resistant fire doors, I have only been able to find these doors in the 30" or 33" varieties. Also in the UK they tend to be 78" (1981mm) high. This does not include the frames or hardware.

There is no apparent minumum height for a door, especially if the door you are constructing is on your own private property. Even on new build public buildings there does not appear to be a minimum height although the standard height in construction today is approx 6ft 6 - 6ft 9
