Alfred E. Peyser and August L. Patzig were well-respected commercial photographers, best known for their photographs of the Chrysler Building, a masterpiece of Art Deco architecture. Historians find their work very valuable, because they took pictures of the changing urban landscape in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Some of their photographs are indeed collectible, rare, and hard to find. But it is difficult to give you a dollar figure without knowing the condition of your photo, whether it is autographed, and how rare that particular item is. You may want to look on a site like eBay and see what similar photos are going for; or, you may want to ask the curator of a museum or historical society what similar items are worth.

I'm not entirely sure that I understand the question. If your question is "If a photo has Jupiter half in sunlight and half in shadow, will this allow you to calculate where the photo was taken?", then the answer is "Yes, but only if you know the exact TIME when the photo was taken." If the photo was taken by a spacecraft, then we can only calculate the line of position along which the photo was taken. Depending on the quality of the lens and the magnification used, the photo may have been taken from a position close to Jupiter or one farther away.
