This question does not make sense, but if I had to wager a guess I'd say the person asking either wanted a list of the negative aspects of socialism or wanted to know why people oppose the idea of a social system designed to allow, at the very least, comfort and equality to all. I am not qualified to answer either of these questions definitively, but the first thing that comes to mind is the notion of motivation. As in, why would people be motivated to exel in their fields if they were not able to reap the rewards? People are selfish by nature, and if they didn't see what they were doing as benefitting themselves, why would they do it with any level of enthusiasm? Not that I dislike the idea, but it does not seem realistic to expect such a system to succeed.
Party of Democratic Socialism - Germany - ended in 2007.
National Socialism
Social Democratic Party of Germany was created on 1863-05-23.
There was no relationship; Martin Luther King Jr. did not advocate socialism nor was he considered a socialist. He was a socially conservative civil rights activist. While he did advocate for more left-wing reforms in terms of taxation and welfare, he never advocated for partial or complete government ownership of key industries, which is the hallmark of socialism.
Karl Marx doesn't believe in Democracy. He believes in Marxism, Socialism, Communism, and the destruction of Capitalism. Capitalism is what has kept America the best place to live in the world.
The group that was the most opposed to socialism were capitalists.
Probably the group most opposed to socialism were the Fascists of the 1930s who actively persecuted socialists.
Taft was a conservative Republican who was opposed to socialism.
Any variety of socialism that is based on direct democracy or representative democracy for managing the economy or individual enterprises. Alternatively, it is a political philosophy that advocates socialism by using democratic mechanisms and is opposed to Communism.

No, they are capitalists. Socialism and capitalism are diametrically opposed.
What type of government opposed socialismThe governments that opposed socalism did so out of fear of the unknown. These included the notorious, and infamous Nazis, and the rest of the western world basically. This included all capitalist countries, i.e, America. So in answer, Capitalist, Facist, and any other right wing gov't opposed left-wing socalism.
Anarchists were socialists and still consider themselves to be socialists. Anarchists opposed what is today called "state socialism", meaning any type of socialism that advocates for state ownership of the means of production as a form of social ownership. Liberals, conservatives, fascists and monarchists generally opposed socialism.
The colonization of Africa was a capitalist enterprise, not a socialist one. Socialists generally opposed the exploitation of foreign lands for the benefit of the wealthy.
The political word that most closely represents the opposite of socialism is 'plutocracy', but then again, any form of economic elitism that seeks the political objective of maximum economic benefit for a tiny minority at the expense of the majority would be the opposite of socialism. There are many real-life examples of this, whether or not the government self-identifies: Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Cuba, and more.
Conservative Republicans are opposed to socialism because it is not why the founding fathers fought the American revolution. Another answer is that Socialism divides the wealth of the wealthiest into wealth by the common good. Thus, there is no competition for the wealth because everyone is guaranteed of it. The fear here is that no production will occur when you are given wealth without work. The government sphere follows this strata... Left Communism<---Socialism<---Democracy--->Republicanism--->Fascism Rule by Everyone<---Rule by the fittest--->Rule by 1
It was from Socialism that Communism was born.
