1995 VW Jetta battery went dead replaced now car turns over but wont start Checked it has fuel but no spark Is there some sort of lock out in this car that has to be reset Please help?
I did have the same problem but found that after inserting the key into ignition I deed to wait +/- 3 seconds and I can hear the start relay (on the relay pannel) click in. If I do not hear this relay click in the car just does not start (No spark from the electronic coil to the distributor).

sounds to me that the PGMI relay is going out. Changing the relay will only cost you money...I had the same problem on my 1998 Honda accord lx...I changed the relay and that wasn't it...It's the ignition unit that the ignition key turns and starts the car..it cost me $60.00

That didnt work, Then we changed the fuel pump and coil, That didnt work and we changed the fuel relay switch. and that didnt work. The car work ok when its running but want start sometime and keeps my stranded. What should I do. Please Help me
