Art Deco was influenced by the Cubist painters such as Picasso, Fernand Leger, Braque and others. Tamara de Lempicka was a famous female Art Deco painter whose works really evoke the period. Louis Icart also painted in a very Art Deco style. Many artists were more famous for their graphic art in posters, such as Cassandre, Paul Colin, Jean Carlu, Edward Mcknight Kauffer and Roger Broders. Famous fashion print artists of the time include Georges Barbier, Paul Iribe, Georges Lepape and Erte.
