Il Cavallo's story spans five centuries, beginning in 1482, when Ludovico Sforza, the Duke of Milan and Leonardo's patron, commissioned an equestrian statue in honor of his father. Leonardo worked on the statue for 17 years, completing a 24-foot-tall clay sculpture that was to be cast in bronze. However, the political instability of late 15th century Italy proved to be the project's undoing. In 1499, French forces invaded Milan, forcing Ludovico to use the bronze earmarked for the immense statue to build cannons instead. With the Milanese defeated. French archers used the clay model for target practice. What the conquering army didn't destroy was left to the elements. Il Cavallo vanished from the earth to become a little-known footnote in Renaissance history.

During the bronze age, they were made of bronze. During the irong age, swords tended to be made of iron and armor often continued to be made of bronze, if the people using armor could afford bronze. Bronze is stronger than iron and less prone to corrosion, so it makes better armor, but iron is cheaper, and since can be made much harder than bronze it is preferable for blades.
Leonardo da Vinci gained the notoriety of not always finishing his paintings. But he finished some of them. There was 1 piece of art in particular that Leonardo never finished, and ached for. His horse. I don't remember what it was made out of, but some sort of medal. He had to leave it when an invasion attacked. Scientists say, when he died, it appeared he was still aching for his horse.
It was planned but never made.
Who is Leonardo DA Vinci is a famous Italian artist because he made the picture of Mona Lisa and made the plans for the Leonardo horse statue!
They made and accomplished bronze vessels, horse drawn chariots, and a writing system.
Yes though he only made 1 sculpture, a small horse
He never really got into sculpture. There is a tiny horse made by him, now in Budapest.
Leonardo's most famous work is his Mona Lisa, but it was in Madonna on the Rocks that he perfected his use of light painted as if it were coming from behind the subject and made him a great creator of new techniques. Anyway, Leonardo also painted Last Supper, The Baptism of Christ, Adoration of the Magi, and Saint John the Baptist. He also did a gigantic sculpture of a horse in clay to serve as a mold for a gigantic bronze horse that a rich man commissioned him to do. The clay sculpture was a wonder, near and far, as it showed perfectly all of the muscles that a real horse would have. Leonardo was the first to do this.
Some achievements that they had were pottery technology, bronze work, weapons made from jade and military victories. They also traveled by horse drawn carriages.
