The original painting should have the artist's signature, and maybe you can even spot the brush strokes or the artist's fingerprints. Most of the reproductions don't have the artist's signature.
My mother owns a framed print of the original painting where the artist's signature was also printed at the bottom right of the painting. Jesus is holding up his LEFT HAND in this painting. If the painting were reversed as in many reproductions of this particular one, you will notice the artist's signature is absent because it will otherwise be in reverse as well. Hope this helps!
Most likely there are many. One that I know of is Burnett. I have been looking for information about a painitng like this. It seems that Mexico and China make lots of reproductions of this type of painting.
A painting by the Filipino artist Alfredo Sabater can be worth between $6,000 and $8,000. The worth of the painting is realistically determined by the market, the artist's notoriety, and the appraiser's opinion.

International copyright law states that an artist owns the rights to reproductions of his or her work for their lifetime plus 100 years. This painting is dated 1600-1610 and so anyone can reproduce the image. I suggest always stating the title of the artwork as well as the artist's name on any reproduction.
Very often you can just google the name of the painting and find the artist. what if you don't have a title on your painting?
Whoever owns the painting will 'get a cut' as you put it. If the artist owns the painting (not sold it off to someone else) then he will get paid.

Yes, provided the painting is also clearly marked: 'In the style of ...' followed by the name of the original artist.
