To go further, you might want to save, then go into the black, swish-y light in the room in which you defeated Maleficent the first time. There, you will face Dragon Maleficent.
To actually TRAIN, trying going back to the Lift Stop. Plus, the save spot in the room you defeated Maleficent in lets you board the Gummi Ship. You could go to another world to train, if you wish.

I own Kingdom Hearts 2: FinalMix+ and you can fight Terra. He is an optional boss and he is unlocked only after you have beaten every other world. After you have beaten the other worlds, return to the Disney Castle and go to the Throne Room (The huuuge hallway) and enter the small room at the other end of it. Here there should be a new crack in the wall where you will have the option to fight Terra (where it will teleport you to a new area for the boss battle). Happy playing ^.^
How do you beat Kingdom Hearts 1?
You just keep going through the storyline in each world until you get to 'The End of the World' and beat the final boss (Ansem i think). But you won't likely get anywhere if you don't level up. A lot of battles will be extremely hard to complete if you are at a low level. Just keep fighting heartless to level up. Some bosses such as Sephiroth do not need to be beaten to beat the storyline of the game. The Coliseum tournaments and Whinne the Pooh minigames also don't have to be played to finish the storyline.

Get kingdom hearts 2 if you have played one or both but if you haven't played / beaten Kingdom hearts get the first one. They are both awesome and KH2 is simply amazing but you HAVE TO play the first one first. The emotional roller coaster that is Kingdom Hearts is a good one, but if you don't have the launching point then there is no ride. KH2 isn't half as good if you haven't played the first one.

How do you gain levels fast in kingdom hearts 2?
If you have completely beaten the Pride Lands (MINOR SPOILER: you need to defeat the boss after Scar), go to where you fought Scar, there should be enough heartless to keep you busy. After that, re-enter the world and you can do it again. I prefer having low HP and many exp boost skills to get max exp out of it. Including the gullwing keyblade.
