Nail varnish remover is as good as any expensive thinner. Been a nail tech 20 years and it works well for me.
Used to dilute, dissolve and clean up lacquer products. Typically too caustic for oil paints, lacquer thinner is often used for removing inks on metal, and adhesive residue from a variety of surfaces. Lacquer thinner is very strong and rapidly deteriorates many surfaces and fabrics. Always test in a small inconspicuous area before applying too liberally on a large surface. Hope this helps!
it depends about the project or application you require as nc or nitrocellulose is very fast drying and higher prices with slightly better look alkyd i prefer as it takes much time for drying so i can apply easily and cheaper price so if u paint in a store and make quick loading of materials go for nc for outdoor bug projects go for alkyds hope that helps
go to your local lowes and purchase a prodcut called goo off (oil based) or lift off (oil Based) and depending on what type of flooring we are talking about, if it's oil just use mineral spirits.
Varnish does not always include shellac. It's usually a combination of a drying oil, a resin, and a thinner. Go to the wikipedia link below to read all about varnish.
You can find it at Vh1.com. Or you can go to youtube and find videos.
absolutely NOT, that would be very dangerous to your skin and nails, go to a nail salon pay $10.00 and have them do it for you!

Try it on a small, hidden area, but it should be fine. Nail polish is a kind of paint called nitrocellulose lacquer; if the solvent (acetone) won't dissolve the plastic, go for it.
OPI, a family owned company founded in 1981, is committed to creating the highest quality products. With over 250 colors to choose from, OPI professional nail lacquer is perfect for special occasions, office wear or a mid-week manicure pick-me-up. To create a manicure that is long lasting, start by gently pushing your cuticles back using a cuticle stick. Follow with OPI Base Coat applied to clean, dry nails. This will prevent the nail lacquer from chipping or staining your nails. After applying nail color, seal it with OPI Top Coat. Be sure to pull the top coat over the tips of the nails to seal in the color. For ladies on the go, use OPI Drip Dry Lacquer Drying Drops to dry your nail color in minutes.
I don't care never will care. Just go ask a vet.
shellac nail polish is half gel and half polish, and its cured by UV light and dries IMMEDIATELY after the manicure process. the UV light sorta makes the shellac nail paint go plasticy, which makes it lasts longer. its thin, but super glossy and lasts up to 2 weeks. i'm not sure what lacquer nail polish is made out of, but i know that it dries super quick (without UV light) and can be applied in one quick flick. it's also super glossy. so maybe the difference is that shellac nail polish is half gel and it's cured by UV light? idk. hope i helped:)
go to the dollarstore and find the nail polish section and buy one for her.
No. Hairspray is lacquer. You would be ironing lacquer into your shirt. Don't go there. It would also likely make a huge mess of the bottom of the iron.
You can search the http://www.beautyschoolsdirectory.com/metrosearch/TX/Dallas where you can find the nail technician schools in Dallas. In the web site you can find all the contacts concerning your question.
go to target, or another department store and you can always go on amazon to get better prices, brands, and styles!:)
well it depends on what your using it on... i wouldn't go that far all you need it some Clorox and nail polish remover.. i used that on my white counter top. it worked for me. So pour Clorox onto a paper towel (just a small amount nothing too drastic) and some nail polish remover and scrub... HOPE THIS HELPS
