Well, I guess the best person to answer this would be Gary Pack himself. I'm amused by this question and also curious. Like, who wants to know? :) Anyhow, I'm here, in San Diego, and have been ever since sometime in 1976 when I got tired of the whole L. A. scene, if you know what I mean. Spent a few years traveling around the country. I was the Director of Bands at Cerritos College for a couple of years, and then I studied and taught in Guadalajara, and then was Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Southern Maine. Also did a stint in Ann Arbor, Michigan as the Production Shop Manager for Shar Music Products, the largest manufacturer of violins, violas, cellos and basses in the country. Came back to San Diego to be a choir and orchestra director at one high school, and band director at a couple of other schools. Would be glad to hear from any friends and/or musicians from the past.
