On the inside of the drivers side frame just behind the firewall
The gas gauge in the Eddie Bauer Explorer probably does not work due to a bad fuel sending unit. The sending unit is in the fuel tank in the same access area as the fuel pump.
On the passenger side, way back, under the exhaust manifold.
The fuel sending unit for the fuel gauge would be located in the fuel tank.
You cannot bypass or reset the Securilock anti-theft system on a 99 Ford Ranger. If the system begins to malfunction and you can no longer start the vehicle, you will likely need to replace the transponder unit that is located behind the ignition in the steering column.
Low on coolant, sticky thermostat, loose connections, faulty sending unit.
On my 1995 Ford Explorer, with the 4.0 L OHV engine, the sending unit for the oil pressure guage is located just below the power steering pump.
the sending unit is located near the bottom of the block on the left ( driver side) it is on the same harness as the oil level switch
I believe that is near the oil filter
its on the floor on the passenger side below the heater unit
The RAP module is in the cargo area , on the drivers side , behind the removable plastic panel where the wheel jack is stored
