You can find the 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass block heater on the right hand side of the engine block. You can follow the block heater cord directly to the block heater.
go to www.autozone.com look for specs and or parts location.
The port for the block heater is a small hole approx. the size of a quarter located on the windshield side of the motor, closer to the driver side of the car. It is just below the head (top part of motor) in the cylinder block. Make sure the hole is clean of dirt and debris by blowing it out, then simply push the heater element in until it clicks, that's it! ...well then you should plug the cord in... but that's it I swear!
The engine block heater cord for the 2009 Ford Flex is at the top front section of the engine, right above the radiator fan. Open the hood and look down toward the radiator, it is right in front on top of the radiator. The cord has a round cover on it. Remove the round cover and you will see the 3-prong plug-in.
The heating element probably burned out causing the open circuit. The element needs to be submerged in coolant completely, all the time that it is plugged in.
This question is a bit confusing. It needs more information. If it involves installing a new heater core, you will really need a good repair manual because this job gets to be quite involved, and is not one that I would recommend for the average do-it-yourselfer. EITHER CONNECT TOGETHER THE HEATER HOSES THAT GO 2 THE HEATER CORE WITH A 1/2OR3/4INCH STRAIGHT PIECE OF PIPE ORCONNECTOR - OR INSTALL 2 BLOCK OFF PLUGS WHERE THE HEATER HOSES USED 2 B CONNECTED ON THE ENGINE.
Fuse block is located behind the glove compartment. Open compartment and pull out entire box and you will see fuse block
Under hood, center, upper engine area, front side of engine block, mounted in fuel line.
If the hazard control is in the dash--may be part of that module - it is in the newer GM vehicles If not it should be in or close to the fuse block
It is hidden in the dash on a the passengers side. To locate it u must open the front passengers door.
The 2.8, 3.1 and 3.4 are all the same block throughout all years. The only thing that really changed was the style of head, the intake, and a roller camshaft. It should be a direct swap for what you are wanting to do however.
The ECM fuse is located inside the car. Open the little glove box, and pull out the liner. From there you can see the Fusebox. It is labelled ECM
Bottom of the engine block inside the oil pan.
I put a 1972 350 old's engine in my 1984 cutlass supreme. It had a 307 and the swap went smooth. It bolted rite up to the turbo 350 transmission also. The engines have the same block so the weight difference was no problem. My cutlass is for sale if you know anyone that is interested. My #573-692-3558 The motor has 20,000 miles on a complete rebuild. Water pump, alternator, carburetor, distributor all new with the rebuild!
Yes. 403 is a small block with identical exhaust ports as a 350 and 330.
