Remove the Power Steering pump hose. Remove the wiring harness from the power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.
You don['t say what year the chev is. Call the local wrecking yard. more than likely yes i would say espeially if its a front wheel drive
You do not have to replace the spark plugs, although you do have to remove the water pump to replace the distributor cap and rotor assembly on the LT1s Optispark which drives directly off the cam behind the water pump. You may even have to remove the harmonic balancer/crank pulley, not sure but be prepared for this. I know the balancer/crank pulley does have to be removed if the whole Optispark (distributor) is to be replaced.

Check the water pump. Examine it for traces of dried coolant that might be leaking out of the casting.
GM (who builds Pontiac cars) usually puts the fuel pump inside the fuel tank. It's tough to get to there, but it stays cool.

have you tried removing return line to bleed system ?
what light, there are a lot of them.
remove belt via tensioner, four bolts on pulley, five on pump, clean and reverse
Im the exhaust pipe.
take drive belt off first. then turn water pump pulley. notice the hole on front of pulley. use this to access all pump bolts behind it.
