I think Sir Gareth is most admirable. He suffers the abusive tongue of Linet as they journey from Camelot to her sister's castle. And in spite of her insults, Garerht fights and defeats knights and thieves left and right. In fact, he says her insults only drove him to fight harder to prove himeslf. And in the rest of the Morte d'Arthur, Gareth always is on the side of chivalry. He doesn't betray his lord's trust like Lancelot did. Gareth doesn't even want to take sides when lancelot and Guinevere's affair is exposed. When she is condemened to burn at the stake, Gareth serves as a guard against his own wishes and only under orders.

I see this and I think that it can only have validity in the same manner that asking, "Who is the most insane patient in the insane asylum?" can have validity. The least admirable character would be King Arthur. I base this purely subjective opinion on the immortal words of Michael Dukakis, who said, "A fish rots from the head first." King Arthur surrounded himself with these liars, braggarts, betrayers, cheaters, killers and all around fools. There wasn't some other authority who had responsibility for seeing that such types were not allowed to run about at large. So he is the head of them all, the one who enabled them all, and the least admirable of them all.
Katniss's most admirable trait in MY opinion is her protectiveness, especially of her loved ones.Although, it's really your opinion, no one can prove her best trait. Her most admirable trait is her strength and determination because she continues to move on even after she has lost everything and everyone.
Yes. Okonkwo has many admirable qualities which make him well-respected among all villages of the Igbo.
Pangloss, Candide's optimistic mentor, is often seen as the most admirable character in "Candide." Despite facing numerous tragedies and setbacks, Pangloss maintains his belief in the philosophy of "all is for the best" and tries to find a positive spin on any situation. His unwavering optimism and intellectual curiosity make him stand out as a symbol of resilience and intellectual pursuit in the face of adversity.
The most infamous would be Nero. Being admirable is all up to personal opinion.

I appreciate the character of the Aged Mother herself the most. Her wisdom, selflessness, and love for her son are admirable qualities that resonate throughout the story. Her courage and determination to protect her son and uphold their traditions make her a memorable and inspiring character.

queen Victoria was a good queen because she had courage and the willingness to learn but most importantly, reform and true test of character was being a good wife to her husband. she showed an admirable character of humility and submission despite of her being queen. pride could never make one a good leader.
