Buckingham Fountain was designed by Edward H. Bennet with the help of french sculpter Marcel Loyau and engenieer Jacques Lambert. The idea for Buckingham Fountain was by Kate Buckingham in honor of her late brother Clarence Buckingham, that had died. It was dedacated as a landmark on Aguast 26, 1927 and its full name is Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain.
