Amelia Earheart was a famous female pilot, who was the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean, but she disappeared while she was flying back across the Atlantic to get home. Scientists have found out that Amelia was flying back because she had left a note on her plane so if she died everyone would know that she crossed the Atlantic. Later on people were suspicious about the note that she could have wrote that note so everyone would think that but she actually didn't. Now today people know she did cross because she also took a picture of herself on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.
