In the United States presidential election of 1824, John Quincy Adams was elected President on February 9, 1825, after the election was decided by the House of Representatives. The previous few years had seen a one-party government in the United States, as the Federalist Party had dissolved, leaving only the Democratic-Republican Party. In this election, the Democratic-Republican Party splintered as four separate candidates sought the presidency. Such splintering had not yet led to formal party organization, but later the faction led by Andrew Jackson would evolve into the Democratic Party, while the factions led by John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay would become the National Republican Party and later the Whig Party.
Economic: lowering taxes (probably) Social: this one's tougher, as there's a lot more disagreement on these in the Republican Party...probably illegalizing at least some forms of abortion? Foreign: increasing the size of the military (once again, probably) Growth of agriculture
NNo
President Obama is not a party. He is a member of a party. In America, there are two major (and several other minor) political parties. Mr. Obama is a member of the Democratic Party-- so, we would say he is a Democrat.
America should support the goals of the French Revolution

Polls have shown that Christians in the United States are more likely to vote Republican. There is not much of a gap however between Democrat and Republican Christians.

Republican! Plato sucks, huh?
Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison were the creators of the Democratic-Republican party, and James Monroe was a famous person in that party too.

The Republican/Conservative party would be more likely to support a strong military. Democrats have different views, many believe that war isn't the right way to settle differences.
We would have had slavery for longer.
