Why did Germans like the Nazi Party?

Brainwashing through Propaganda. Germany was still suffering post-war problems such as political turmoil and economic depression and the Nazi party promised solutions to these problems. Anyone who didn't believe in them and weren't brainwashed were forced to vote in fear of their lives. That's all I know.

The Nazi party (originally the Labour party) was voted for because of its charismatic leader, Adolf Hitler. Hitler joined the Labour party and became their greatest orator, basically a poster boy who inspired many, many people by promising them what they wanted. He made promises to every social class in Germany. To the poor he promised the return of jobs. The farmers were promised higher prices for their goods, and the middle class was promised various other things.

The most important thing he promised everyone was to return Germany to its former glory.
