Violent protest erupted in Chicago which caused civil unrest among AA leaders. With the KKK taking action against the civil rights leaders (bomb set off outside Jr's hotel room), the message of the campaign was overwhelmed with tension. During multiple arrests, policemen were violent. Violent towards children which became the main protesters. Children were the main protesters because the bread winners were the parents, children could miss a few days of school and not economically affect the family. Riots broke out and the Campaign failed and moved on.
