a globe is a sphere and is the same shape as the earth. it shows the mountains and terrain but does not give you a specific location. the map is better becasue it is more precise.
Globes will give a more accurate representation.
If you want to see Earth as a whole, a globe (or 3-D model) is the most accurate representation because the Earth's shape is spherical. Since a flat map cannot accurately take the shape of the round globe some of the things on the map can appear distorted in shape, and can make some land masses appear larger than others when they are not.
map is more useful than a globe because it is more convenient to find a place in a map instead of a globe which is like a ball in shape.Plus in a globe the minor towns and roads are not available. So its more accurate. Flat maps are better than globes because flat maps are more easily transported. They are also easier to use when calculating distances. A flat world map will allow you to look at the whole earth at one time. It helps people to understand where each country lies in relation to the others. It is easier to measure distances from place to place. You can't fold a globe making it easier to transport or carry.
There is a range of snow globe sizes and designs, but the most common is a 4" diameter glass globe, seated on a base that is no larger than 4.5" x 4.5". when placed together, the globe plus base is 7-8" tall.
probably more than a thousand i think
the circular shape that a map can not
Globes will give a more accurate representation.
maps are less accurate because on a globe, you can like feel the mountains and a globe is 3D and a map is not
Metric units have many advantages over Imperial units but precision and accuracy are not amongst them. Precision and accuracy depends on the individual units in use. For example, A kilometre is more accurate than a mile, A furlong is more accurate than a kilometre, A metre is more accurate than a kilometre, A yard is more accurate than a metre, A foot is more accurate than a metre, An inch is more accurate than a foot, A centimetre is more accurate than an inch, A thou is more accurate than a centimetre, and so on, and on.
A flat map is two dimensional. A Globe is three dimensional. The Earth is three dimensional. If you try and express a three dimensional object using a two dimensional surface, you introduce distortions. A flat map has distortions, a globe is a truer representation.
It is impossible for a flat map to be as accurate as a globe. The Earth is round and only a round globe can put things in the correct perspective.
i think ungroup data is more accurate because we count each value. while, in group data there is interval
If you got a number of choices from your teacher, 'globe' is the correct one. To be very precise, it is a globe slightly flattened at the top and bottom and a teenie bit pear-shaped as the southern half has a bit more mass than the northern half.
the distance between latitudes is constant at all places on the globe but distances between longitudes shrinks the further you move away from the equators toward the poles.
There are far fewer or far more than thirteen parts of the globe. More information is needed on the type of classification you are using and the globe you are referring to.
List the situation in which the globe is far more useful than maps
They receive more direct sunlight than the other parts of the globe.
