Did you get the hose clamps tight? Did you puncture a hole in the bottom of the radiator? Did you get the petcock closed all the way? You didn't overtighten the petcock at the bottom of the rad did you? Is your water pump good? Did you put thermostat in the right way?????????????
Replacing radiator hoses can be tricky. Sometimes if the hose is bent in the wrong way, they can tear and leak still. The Clamps at either end need to be tight enough not to let any fluid out.
Maybe it wasn't the radiator hose to begin with. Look for another source of the leak.
have system pressure tested to observe leak
I have used radiator stop leak before in my 1996 Olds Achieva SC with the V6. I put it directly into the coolant resovor. It went in fine for me. This did not give me much help though. I would not recommend using stop leak. It will clog your heater core and then you will have more than the radiator as your problem. Fine a new radiator and replace it that is the best advidce i can give you.
usually coolant leaks come from bad gaskets... or a bad water pump.. i would say drain the system and run water through the radiator (do NOT drive with water in the radiator, your engine will surely overheat!) and see if you can spot where the coolant is coming from... if it is coming from the engine block then you might have bad gaskets.. if not then it's the water pump.
I think that either your radiator is plugged up, not allowing your coolant to use the full volume and/ or surface area of the radiator. Also, your thermostat might be stuck closed not letting your coolant to circulate through the block. And last thing, make sure that your electric cooling fan comes on when the car gets above 180 degrees. My answer is to replace your thermostat, flush and clean your cooling system (by a professional radiator shop)with a strong cleaner, and make sure there are no leaks in your cooling system, your car has a closed system, a leak will make it over heat too.
Blown head gasket? Air trapped in the system (hasn't bled out yet)? Wrong cap?
A leak in a coolant system can usually be fixed by replacing a hose. If the leak is at the end of the hose, a new clamp might be necessary. If the radiator is leaking, the radiator might need to be replaced.
To replace a lower radiator hose on a Ford Focus, use a bucket to catch any antifreeze that might leak. Loosen the clamp from both ends on the hose that needs to be replaced. Put the clamps on the new hose and reposition the hose on the radiator and the other end where it needs to go. Tighten the clamps. Refill the radiator with antifreeze.
try a radiator cap......or you have a head gasket leak.
If the radiator was not fitted in properly or the pipes were not attached correctly, the radiator would leak.
Yes, radiators can leak. The newer style radiators do not leak as often as the solid brass radiators, but they still can occasionally leak. A qualified radiator shop can often repair a radiator, but you'll probably have better service from a new one.

Well you have to identify it first. It could be just the condensation from the A/C after you turn of the engine or could be some other leak. I had one on my jeep where the radiator and the hose connected. Be sure to check around there. To fix it, buy a new radiator.
If the hose is leaking buy a new one the "release valve" may be the drain for the system that is usually located on the opposing side of the radiator from the lower hose connection open the main radiator cap slowly before doing this you may get as much as 1.5 gallons maybe less if there was a leak
Need to check the lower radiator hose were it goes on the water pump. It probley has a pin hole in it where the clamp goes on. It's pretty common. Did you put the gaskets on right????
It sounds like there's a leak somewhere. If it's not in the cap, it could be in the hose, or the connection, or the radiator itself. If you can't figure this out on your own, take it to a mechanic.
remove radiator hoses and run hose through upper hose hole, if theres any delay at all when water comes out lower hose hole then your radiator is clogged and blocking flow. any radiator shop will clean it for under $50.
misplaced radiator cap - buy a new onecross threaded radiator cap - take off and put on properlyhole in radiator - drain the radiator of coolant, solder the hole closed, refill the radiator.worn-out water pump - buy and install a new or rebuilt one.hole in radiator hose - buy and install a new one.
