It could be a bad cap, rotor, pickup coil/reluctor, or a loose ground.
I just finished replacing the cabin A/C filters on my 2001 Honda Accord. The two filters are located just behind the glove compartment. The hardest part of replacing the filters is removing the glovebox. So, here is the web address I used for assistance in removing and replacing the filters on my Accord http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/archive/index.php/t-43307.html. I recommend downloading and printing all the pictures and diagrams from the links that are included on this site. The diagrams are from the Helms manual and help as a reference to avoid any snaggles. Good luck and
radiator hose needs replacing. use and heat will cause hose to collapse when worn out
Gregory, to get at that drain bolt you have to get under your car. It is located slightly above the oil filter. I am planning on changing my radiator and will be doing this as well. Good luck.
Left Socialist Accord was created in 1989.
My 1997 Honda Accord was crashed into a snow bank, broke front left turn signal light(Bulb+assembly). Soon after the crash, the rear left turn signal began blinking rapidly. Several days after, the whole turn signal system shut down (all four blinkers stopped blinking). I replaced the bulb+assembly for the left, turn signal switch, and turn signal relay and checked the fuses. The hazard lights work, but the turn signals don't. I did everything I could replacing parts. Does anyone know what is wrong with my accord?
In the distributor. You have to remove the distributor cap to gain access to it.
IT IS A BAD IGNITOR ON THE INSIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR.
You may have a blown fuse.
HI, I would suggest you check the ignitor .My 1993 Honda Accord LX had the same symptoms. Mary
I have a 97 accord, Mine runs normally at 2000RPM's. At 70 MPH it goes up alittle above the "2" on your tachometer. Hope this helps you.
Bad connection somewhere? Loss of power? (check and wiggle fuse)
I have read it is a problem with the ignition coil.Even if the coil seems O.K.
ask a mechanic sucka!
inside distributor under cap (expensive) Honda calls it an ignitor its part of the distributor actually it is the distributor
