Might depend what country you''re trying to view the imagery from. In most cases you should be able to see the installation better than as "Area 51" in Google Earth by jumping to its location. Wikipedia and other websites have the coordinates for this facility in the northeast of Nevada.
There are some restricted areas that are purposefully blurred out in satellite imagery or low-resolution imagery used including those seen in Google Earth and Google Maps.
