because plants give off oxygen and support life for us and we have water.
Biosphere
they are deserts not capable of supporting human habitation
AnswerThe truth is, the other planets DO have atmospheres.Planets other than Earth have gases surrounding the planet just like we do here. However, the types and/or quantities of gases in the atmospheres of other planets are simply not capable of supporting life like Earth is for one reason or another.Venus, for example, has an atmosphere extremely rich in greenhouse gases such as Carbon Dioxide. Because of this, Venus is a VERY hot planet from all the solar radiation that is constantly beaming onto the planet with no way to escape.Venus is not hot though find out more on wikipedia
The primary factor is that Earth is located in the "Habitable Zone," an area around our specific star in which life-supporting planets could develop. Habitable zones are different sizes and different distances for each star. This allowed a life-supporting atmosphere to develop (or at least, what would become one, as the atmosphere then was primarily sulfur and nitrogen gases), which caused rain, which formed oceans. The water reacted with the air and slowly, single-cell bacteria formed. Over billions of years, Earth went from molten to frozen to jungle and then began to stabilize, forming the diverse ecology seen today. Life adapted, and it's all evolution from there.
life on earth just pure stupid
capable of supporting life
Earth
the part of the earth and its atmosphere in which living organisms exist or that is capable of supporting life.
No planet that we know of other than Earth is capable of supporting life.
No.
In our solar system the earth is the only planet capable of supporting life much as an oasis is the place in the desert that is able to support life.
Saturn is not capable of supporting life. It has no solid surface and has an atmosphere of hydrogen and helium. It is one of the coldest planets.
No, not that anybody knows of. There is no proof that Venus was ever capable of supporting life at any point.
not life as we know it... too cold and no water
Any zone capable of supporting life
Jupiter is a gas giant and is not capable of supporting life.
