You are going for the fact that only the globe is free from the distortions that all flat maps must have in order to represent a curved surface. But in fact the globe is not the best representation of the earth for all possible applications. As long as you understand the construction and limits of various projections, flat maps may be the representations that best combine the need for detail and accuracy along with convenience and usefulness.
Hey this is Lily4eva and you will be seeing allot more of me on this site and all of my answers are true! A globe is a replica and true representation of the earth's shape and surface. A map cannot provide an accurate representation of the earth's surface because it is a flat surface. (Try pasting a map on a globe.) It doesn't work. Maps use projections like the Mercator Projection to show the earth's surface but it causes distortions because a map is flat and the earth is spherical in shape.
Globes are a representation of the planet Earth. The axis of spin of the Earth is tilted sideways with respect to the plane in which it orbits the Sun. Globes of the Earth are therefore constructed to represent this tilt.
All three are globe-like due to internal gravitation forces. Though the Earth is an Oblate Spheroid, and not a perfect sphere.
The physical model that most accurately represents the earth would be a globe. These show the different land and water masses throughout the world.
world or earth or globe Theatrum Orbis Terrarum ("Theater of the World") is considered to be the first true modern atlas.
Globe is the best representation of the earth because it shows the shape of the earth, which is spherical and it makes it easy to show how the earth revolves and rotates.
Since the planet Earth actually is approximately spherical in shape (technically it is an oblate spheroid, bulging at the equator - somewhat like myself) a globe is a good model of what the Earth actually looks like.

The most accurate representation of the Earth is a geoid, which is a three-dimensional model that represents the Earth's gravitational field and shape. It takes into account variations in the Earth's density and topography to accurately represent its surface.
They both show a representation of the Earth.
A globe is circular just as the Earth is. A globe is also just a three-dimensional map.
