i dont think so..
The Nazis confiscated many of Munch's works as 'degenerate', so they did not love each other.
Edward Munch was a Norwegian painter that was born in the year 1863, he is the author of one of the most easily recognized paintings of the world, 'The Scream', which he painted in the year 1893. He was influenced by his teachers Christian Krohg and Julius Middelthun. His early works had said are reminiscent of Manet and he later was influenced by the Post-Impressionists, as Cezanne, Rousseau and Van Gogh.
The type of brush used depends on the medium. For oils one must use natural bristle brushes, like sable. Munch also did a lot of prints, one of his 'Scream' images is a print and so no brushes were involved.
Yes and No Yes because the mystery behind the painting is that while Edvard Munch was walking with friends, he had to stop to take a break as his friends went ahead, he heard a ear percing scream. The reason the screams hands are over his ears is because the scream that comes from the most famos open mouth is so shrill, he must put his hands over his ears. No because there is nothin in the painting like in the background. Hope this helped:>

No, scream was not painted by MC Escher. It was painted by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. Munch worked on various versions of the painting over about a 20 year period, so several versions exist.

"The Scream" was painted in 1893 by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. It is now in the National Gallery in Oslo, Norway. So I'm guessing since its in Norway now and Munch was norwegian it must have been painted in Norway.
He is Norway's most famous composer.

Edvard Munch the artist of the "Scream" made copies of his artwork. I'm not completely sure about it but I think it was to sell more of them or to have copies in museums all over the world. But he did also make a simplified version with ink in a way that it could just be coloured in for others to recreate it them selves.
