Women do like doing sculpture. There are many female sculptors. History it was men who made all art, women have really begun to take a position in the art field in the last 100 years so if you look to historic work there are very few women sculptors but if you look at contemporary work there are many women. In the art field in general there are more men than women and the portion of women in sculpture is probably similar to painting, Photography, and other art forms. (this is most likely due to the male dominated history) Many women are less spatial than men. People usually think of that in terms of navigation and construction, but it may apply to sculpture as well. Historically, women did art that would help their families, like sewing quilts and so on.
