I don't know that much about cars but maybe there was water damage or a clogged fuel line that fixed itself. Like I said, I don't know that much about cars. It could also be the spark plugs or some other electric malfunction. Hope I helped.
I had the same problem with an 01 Impala. Unfortunaltely the fix isn't cheap. For mine, it was the ignition switch combined with the BCM (Body Control Module). About a grand at the mechanic will fix it. However having said that, I made the repair, and the problem has started again only 6 months later. A quick diagnostic at the mechanic will specify what the problem is.
Try charging the battery first. if it wount chage it needa replaced. There are a lot of good batteries on the market and the difference in the price is the length of the warranty. Don't get one that is too small as it will fail soomer. GoodluckJoe
probably the starter at least that is where I would start at anyway. I had the same problem but after so long the car would crank and I was told the starter but have not had problem again.
I had the same problem with my 99 Chevy caviler and its all because of a wiring problem that could catch on fire, mine did, get it checked out
I think I answered my own question. My left headlight recently died, so when I replaced the headlight suddenly the problem went away. I'll post again if the problem returns.
How can who slove their problem?Ask the question again, this time saying who or what the question is about.

I had the same problem with my 98. My mechanic found a loose wire at the blower motor connection.

It usually takes four years so it is a decision that requires a lot of thought and determination. Once again, the system is saying there is a problem.

As you did before, you will have to have the trouble codes read again. It's possible the same problem has come back - in that case the mechanic who did the original work, is who you turn to next. But - it well could be a different problem.Have the codes read again...
