NO!
Several things can cause your transmission to be stuck in second gear. Broken or detached shifting linkage will cause the problem. A broken shifting for in the transmission can also cause the problem.
bad synchronizer
what would cause my car to run fine when it has first started up then after a while first gear will kinda bog down.
you need a new starter motor,
Align the neutral lockout switch.
YOU CANT START A NORMAL AUTONATIC TRANSMISSION IN GEAR, HOWEVER YOUR DASH INDICATES THAT YOUR NOT IN GEAR. ONE CAUSE COULD BE DAMAGE TO THE LINKAGE BETWEEN YOUR TRANS AND GEAR SELECTOR. THIS WOULD INDICATE A DIFFERENT GEAR THEN THE GEAR SELECTED. YOU MAY ALSO CHECK THE PARK PINS IN YOUR TRANS.
The gear or sensor that detects main gear rotations has failed.
well i dont know!
You start by diagnosing it to determine the cause of the issue, then repair it accordingly.
You start to slow down & get close to the ground then your landing gear comes out then you can land
if you have messed up the stiring wheel
there are several problems that could cause this on a jeep one is the ignition switch, the starter, the gear changer on the transmission.
You cant, trust me, I have one, and you simply cannot start it in gear.
Is that when you shift INTO gear? It's supposed to drop a little - 150 to 200 rpm - when you put the car in gear. If it drops 500-600 rpm, start by looking for vacuum leaks.
if I'm thinking correctly its a bracket...
Try the brake lamp fuse
Some can be started in this gear, yes.
