What you should look into is an Elastomeric paint or an Epoxy floor coating. an Elastomeric Coating on a cement floor would be more effective in light traffic walk way areas (around a pool). This product has a very low sheen and dries some what rubbery and can aid in the non-slip factor. Where as an Epoxy Coating would be more effective under heavy traffic or weight (in the Garage). This product dries extremely Hard with a very high gloss finish and is very slippery when wet with out aid from sand/texture These types of coatings can be applied to any horizontal or vertical surface. Check the product label for recommendations as for use on floors. Not all products are suitable to be walked on.
Plaster of Paris (but you have to work quickly...)
There are other wall coverings besides tile. Also, you could use larger floor tile to make the work easier. Maybe an exterior paint would work, but should you want to sell, the buyers would see this as a bad shortcut.
I'm taking a guess that it is Latex Paint. The best and fastest way would be to use a Paint Scraper. Stripper would work but it would take the Final Finish off of your floor. If it is a large area, you could use a Heat Gun...carefully as that also would take the Clear protecting coat off of the floor. I would go with the paint scraper. Not a Putty Knife, a Paint Scraper.

A natural cabinet finish would match a cherry blossom marble floor tile. Any other colors in the tile matched to a choice paint could work as well.

That paint that they use for painting garage floors stick to most surfaces it might work . I think they call it rock. Your best bet is to use Floquil or Scalecoat model paint named "cement". Make sure the paint is compatible with the plastic!
sorry but you will either level the floor or the tile job will look like crap & your hard work & money willl be shot.. Floor leveling is a project for a pro..
Sweep, then vacuum them. Put on a good floor primer (-About $20 in Home Depot. ) Then lay floor paint on with a roller. The floor paint has less coverage than wall paint. -About 200 sq. ft. per gallon. Start in the corner furthest from the room entrance and work backward toward the doorway. Don't "paint yourself into a corner," as the expression goes.
Self levelling products are poured onto the floor and level themselves into the low spots. They don't need the typical work cement work does.

To effectively remove paint from a wood floor, you can use a chemical paint stripper or sanding method. Apply the paint stripper according to the instructions and scrape off the softened paint. Alternatively, sand the painted area with a sander until the paint is removed. Be sure to wear protective gear and work in a well-ventilated area.

You " CAN ", but it is not advisable!AnswerSand the painted area so that it is rough. Then the adhesive will work better.
