The stain glass windows were used to tell the bible stories in the churches. People couldn't read so the churches had to have a method to teach the bible. Stain glass was one way. They were also very pretty.....!
With many Tiffany lamp shades, when you tap on them using your knuckle or finger tip, it does not feel like glass. That is more evident when the shade is made of smaller glass panels / pieces. When small panels of stained glass are soldered together, the vibration that it gives off when we tap on them feels more like plastic than glass; the vibration is dampened by soldering small panels of glasses together. To verify that the shade is indeed made of glass, you can use a fork to tap on the Tiffany shade lightly. You can feel the glass tone better. If you accidentally drop the shade, it WILL break. Tiffany stained glass is thicker. When you tap on them, you are actually feeling the stain coating. They are rolled out from a big sheet of glass initially, stained into different color and then cut into little pieces before being soldered together. Unlike plastic, they have variation and rippling surface.
Yes. Make sure you strip all clear finish off down to bare wood and stain. You can re-stain with same or darker color tone, but can't go lighter in tone. In order to go lighter you have to plane the wood down past the stain penetrating layer. good luck with your project.
Believe it or not, ammonia! Dampen a cloth with the ammonia and rub the stain, then polish. I had rubbing alcohol spills all over a dresser and this removed them!
Use a piece of wood the size you would like the picture frame and cut out the size you would prefer for the picture in the middle. Typically you can find a plain picture frame at your local craft school just for this use. Glue each piece of glass on the frame leaving gaps in-between for the grout. Let glue fully dry. Then pour grout all over and wipe excess off. Once finished filling the grouts use a rag and wipe clean the glass. Let grout dry some then go back and use a damp wipe to fully clean each piece of glass, before the grout dries completely.
terpentine should do the trick

Strip it or sand it off and start over.
To remove burn stains from clothes, apply a stain remover or a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar to the stained area. Let it sit for a few minutes, then gently scrub with a toothbrush. Wash the garment as usual and air dry. Repeat if necessary.
The only thing you can do is sand, keep in mind sometimes the stain goes to deep, I just had an end table with a stained top, I planed 3/8" off the top and the stain was still visible, I made a new top. Good-Luck
You can try using a razor blade to carefully scrape the stain off the glass surface. Another option is to use a mixture of vinegar and water or a glass cleaner and a non-abrasive sponge to gently scrub the stain. Make sure to rinse the area thoroughly after cleaning.
It sounds as though your table was stained and a finish coat was not applied. Take it back to where you bought it or hire a painter to finish it.
Brush your teeth! And take care to scrub your tongue. If your tongue is still stained, just wait a while until the stain fades.
One way to remove a stain from a permanent marker on jeans is to dab rubbing alcohol onto the stain with a cotton ball. Blot the stained area until the marker lifts off, then rinse with cold water and wash the jeans as usual. Repeat the process if necessary.
Yes, mud can stain black clothes if not treated promptly. It is important to let the mud dry completely before attempting to brush or gently scrape it off the fabric. Once the mud is dry, you can lightly brush it off and then treat the stained area with a pre-treatment stain remover before washing the clothes.
