Wal-Mart will not give any type of Veterans discount. They refused me when I asked for a discount. I had an ID from the DAV stating my percentage of disability.
Thanks for asking, I work at Walmart so I can offer you some insider knowledge ;) In answer to your question, yes, they do occasionally give discounts on veterans. It really depends what kind of veteran you're after. The best looking veterans are rarely discounted, usually sell at full retail price, so your best option is to look out for veterans that show signs of being past their use-by date, wrinkled/damaged packaging, parts missing etc. Other than that, veterans are often discounted across the entire stock around the start of the year when Christmas is over and there is less demand for them.
I may be wrong but I believe it is the Walmart on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie.
I'm unable to look up current information directly, but Walmart associates typically have access to a discount program that includes hotel discounts through the Walmart One portal. To find specific hotels and the discounts available, associates should log into Walmart One and navigate to the benefits section. There, they can find detailed information about the hotel discount program and participating hotels.

Walmart does not have a specific program for AARP discounts on air conditioners. However, AARP members may receive discounts through other retailers or special promotions. It's best to check Walmart's website or contact customer service for any current offers or to see if AARP discounts apply to other products.

Yes, Sears offers a discount program for veterans through its partnership with the Veterans Advantage program. Veterans can receive a discount on eligible purchases by verifying their military status. It's advisable to check the specific terms and conditions on the Sears website or contact customer service for the latest information on discounts available to veterans.
I inquired in the store a few days ago and was told NO. 5/27/2013 Islandia, N.Y. store
There are some companies that will give a slight discount to families that are made of veterans, or current serving military. I know that Progressive Insurance does this.
Yes 10%
One of the only ways to find out if they give senior discounts is to ask. Many places do give senior discounts.
The best veterans deals often include discounts on travel, retail, and dining. Many airlines offer reduced fares for veterans and active-duty military personnel, while hotels frequently provide special rates or free nights. Retailers like Home Depot and Lowe's often have discounts on home improvement purchases, and restaurants may offer free meals or discounts on Veterans Day. It's beneficial for veterans to check specific websites or local businesses for additional offers tailored to their service.
