No, and antimatter apple would not fall up. It still applies to the same laws of physics, but the only variation is is when it makes connection with it's opposite charge, then the antimatter annihilates both itself and the particles that I connected to.

How do you artificially create antimatter?

when energy travelling at the speed of light (its possible to reach that speed with a single particle) comes in contact with something, it can reach up to extreme temperatures and the energy can be converted into matter. when this happens, both matter and anti matter is born.. pairs so matter got created by energy smashing into stuff, like other energy or matter, basicly, there is the same amount of matter and antimatter because they are created in pairs.

What is anti-matter?

AntimatterAntimatter could be considered the opposite of "normal" matter. We know that the matter that is all around us and makes us up is built of atoms, and these atoms are made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. In antimatter, atoms would be constructed of anti-protons, anti-neutrons and anti-electrons (which we know as positrons). As electrons orbit a nucleus of protons and neutrons in the "regular" matter we know, positrons would orbit a nucleus of anti-protons and anti-neutrons to make up antimatter atoms. We currently use anti-electrons (positrons) on a regular basis in the medical application we know as PET imaging. Additionally, we use anti-protons in nuclear research. The Large Hadron Collider runs with protons and antiprotons circulating in the acceleration ring (in opposite directions), and then "collided" in an experimental area packed with sensors and detectors. It should be noted that matter and antimatter don't "like" each other. Any "contact" between the two leads to mutual annihilation. In the case of the positron, which is produced in beta plus decay, that positron will eventually "run into" an electron, and mass of the two particles will be entirely converted into energy. Links have been included for further investigation, and you'll find them below.

Can you get Google Maps on your Apple TV?

With Apple's admission that its map product is not up to snuff, Google emerges as the clear winner in the map app war. Rory Crump argues that Google is way ahead in big data, and that the affair has exposed a critical Apple weakness.

Where was the antimatter taken in angels and demons?

It was found on saint Peter's tomb deep inside Saint Peter's basilica by The Chamberlengo. He and Mr. Langdon then took it up in the Swiss Gaurd's helicopter, then the Camberlengo grabbed the only parachute and jumped out. Mr. Langdon grabbed the window cover, jumped out, and aimed towards the river

What is the meaning of fall up alike Does antimatter fall up?

It means that the possibility is considered that Earth's gravity (for example) would push such antimatter up, instead of down; thus, an object made of antimatter, if initially at rest, would move away from Earth, faster and faster. This is a possibility that is being considered; it doesn't seem very likely, though.

How did watching an apple fall from a tree lead newton to his hypothesis about gravity?

The falling apple helped Newton to understand the law of gravitational attraction between masses. The apple did not fall up, it did not fall sideways, it fell toward the earth. Newton could see a universal law in the fall of the local apple. The fall of the apple confirmed his ideas of why the earth orbited around the sun, etc.

Why does an apple fall to Earth?

The apple has mass. The Earth has mass. The apple falls down, and the Earth "falls" up. The Earth's motion is not measurable. The apple's motion is.

Did isaac invent gravity by watching an apple fall?

Questions like this want to make me cry.... No he did not invent gravity he obsurved the apple fall and as a result he came up with the theory of gravity

Can antimatter really blow up whole cities?

yes, antimatter can blow up whole cities. it only takes the amount of a grain of sugar to blow up an entire city the size of New York City.

What is a thing that's not made up of matter?

antimatter and dark matter

Who developed the theroy of gravity?

Isaac Newton developed the theory of gravity. When an apple hit him on the head, he asked, "Why did that apple fall down instead of up?" Then he looked at the moon and wondered why it does not fall down. He had to come up with the branch of mathematics called calculus to figure it out.

Why is still antimatter in the universe if it was defeated by the matter in the big bang?

Our current understanding says that matter-antimatter pairs can be produced by a sufficiently strong energy field, and further says that this is happening all the time. Normally these particles quickly meet up and annihilate each other, but under certain conditions this might not happen, which would leave free antimatter particles running around.

Would an apple brown if baked?

An apple will turn a tannish color and wrinkle up if baked.

What has an apple got to do with Isaac Newton story?

An apple fell on his head so it made him think "Why did the apple fall on my head" so he revealed GRAVITY to the world! he stated for gravity what goes up must come down

What did Star Trek's enterprise use for fuel?

Matter and antimatter were the source of warp travel. But they used dilithium to power the ship and everything on it, including the warp engine. Otherwise there'd be a core breach because the containment fields for the matter and antimatter chambers would fail and blow up the ship.

What would happen to a cut up apple in space?

Since there is not any gravity in space, the apple pieces would start floating around.
