However, there are several piercers working with a new technique of placing surface piercings under or behind scars to try and anchor them. I don't know what the success rate is, but it does seem like it's a concievable concept. If you have them go slightly deeper I think your chances of being able to heal it will be much better or if they can, go completely behind the scar from the first time you had it pierced.
