It has a rev limiter, it is supposed to do that in park or neutral.

I have a 1999 Lumina LTZ and the the power steering reservoir was impossible to find. Much like the other components in this monster 3800 engine like the battery hidden under the washer fluid....the power steering reservoir is located underneath the alternator. Be careful that when you remove the cap you don't get debris from the top into the reservoir.

Follow the bottom radiator hose from the radiator back. It ic connected to the water pump and you will clearly see it . You will be on the passenger side of the hood where the serpentine belt is (looking down). This is the 6 cyl. 3800 engine I'm talking about. Hope this helps.
hi, fans will work when power is jumped direct to fan wiring, . but not with relays or sensors, replaced relay number one but still not working as factory set up. is sensor on radiator a coolant level sensor or fan sensor to trigger relays

It should so long as both vehicles are each Supercharged 3800's or non-supercharged 3800's and make sure the Grand Prix has a 3.8L (3800 V6) and not a 3.1L V6 (3100)
