You'll need a couple flathead screwdrivers. There are 11 clips on the grill that need to be separated from the front of the vehicle. The clips pull apart with some moderate force. However, you need to be careful because you can damage the slender parts (I'll use the term "wing") of the grill that jut out down the middle/front of the headlamps. You have to be firm but not too forceful. There are two clips under each of these "wings". Make sure you get the tool you are using near the clip so you can pop them out without cracking the "wing". You can use one flathead to separate the "wing" from the front of the grill a bit and the other flathead to move further in near the clip to firmly (but controllingly) pry it open. One clip is approximately 2 inches from the end of this "wing" and the other clip is about 10 inches in from the end of the "wing". There are four clips directly on top of the center piece of the grill, 2 on the bottom of the center piece and 1 directly under the Chevy logo in the center of the grill.

If you are replacing one the headlight bulbs or turn signal bulbs you'll need to pull up on two clips that keep the headlamp assembly in place. Once you pull up on both of the clips (on top corners of headlamp), be careful of the wires that are still connected. You can get to the bulbs without pulling it all the way out of try separating the wiring to pull the headlamp box all the way off the vehicle. You'll see the rubber caps that you need to pry off to replace the lo/hi beam light bulbs. These bulbs for lo/hi beam are different. Make sure you get the right bulb. Check with the parts store to get the correct bulb. Don't touch the bulb with your bare hands. It's a a halogen. The natural oils from your hand can cause the decreas the lifespan of the bulb (may even crack).
