The way I did mine and it worked great, Inlace has a turquoise stone product, (powder or pebbles) get a two part epoxy (30 minute), mix enough for the entire crevices, now add black India ink, start out with two or three drops, just enough to make the epoxy a rich black color and no more, (or what ever color you want) with the correct amount of epoxy and ink mixed well, now mix in the power or stone, make sure the crevices are clean and dry and scoop the mixture into each crevice, you might want to make a dam with tape around the crevices because you want the mixture to be at least 1/8" above the surface, let the epoxy cure completely and then sand and finish.
