You take cardboard and you build the body of your ship using lots of Duct Tape. The best I have seen are usually boxes with a slight incline at one end. Careful however, they only last the one use. (I have done this project in school, for more info message me) Actually - the below is wrong - i dont think you can make a "SHIP" out of cardboard its another form of paper so when it gets wet it will sink and you prolly not goin to be able to make a ship maybe if your lucky a boat and that is using other stuff so the cardboard dosent get wet and fall apart next time think things over befor you post them =]

How do you build a ship out of cardboard?

There are many excellent sites on the internet with step by step instructions on how to build things out of cardboard. The problem with your question is that you don't state whether you want a full size boat that will float on water, or a cardboard ship play house, or a table size model ship. Without that information, the best advice I can give you is to type How to build a cardboard ship into your search box, and choose the site that will be the most help.

How much water is needed to float a ship?

The amount of water needed to float a ship depends on factors such as the weight and size of the ship, as well as the density of the water. A ship displaces an amount of water equal to its weight, so it will float as long as it displaces its weight in water.

Why does ship float on sea?

A ship floats on the sea due to the principle of buoyancy. The weight of the water displaced by the ship is equal to the weight of the ship, allowing it to float. This is because the density of the ship is lower than the density of water.

How do ship float in water?

Ships float due to the principle of buoyancy, which states that the weight of the water displaced by the ship is equal to the weight of the ship. This is achieved through the design of the hull, which is shaped to displace enough water to support the weight of the ship. When the weight of the ship is less than the weight of the water it displaces, the ship will float.

How can a large ship float in water?

A large ship can float in water due to the principle of buoyancy. The weight of the water displaced by the ship is equal to the weight of the ship itself, allowing it to stay afloat. The shape of the ship's hull and the distribution of weight also play a role in helping it float.

Can ship float on kerosene or not?

No, a ship cannot float on kerosene. Kerosene is less dense than water, so it cannot support the weight of a ship, which is designed to float on water due to its buoyancy.

Why do iron ship flow on water?

Why is it possible for a ship to float on water?

A ship can float on water because of buoyancy, which is the force exerted by a fluid (in this case, water) that opposes the weight of the object placed in the fluid. The shape of the ship's hull allows it to displace a volume of water equal to its weight, making it float.

Why do steel ships float on water if steel is denser than water?

Steel ships float on water because of the principle of buoyancy. The weight of the water displaced by the ship is equal to the weight of the ship itself, causing the ship to float. The shape of the ship also plays a role in its ability to displace water and stay afloat.

What is it called when a ship float on water?
