Build a base out of two by fours, to save weight, and then cut an access door in the side of the drum. You will need to buy two hinges for the door and attach them with nuts and small bolts. Then get a simple lock to keep the door closed when you rotate it. You will also need to put turning handles on the ends of the barrel, to turn and rotate the tumbler.
